Children from North Cork can be referred into St. Josephs Foundation by using the referral form for school age children. Referrals should be accompanied by all relevant reports. Referrals will be considered by the school age team and accepted if they meet the criteria.
Children must have a diagnosis of an Intellectual disability and/or Autism to be able to avail of the services and supports of St. Joseph’s Foundation.
Children who are already in our Early Intervention service will automatically transfer to school age services if they continue to meet the criteria.
Children living in Limerick, will transfer to a school age team in Limerick when they are finished with the Early Intervention team. This transfer usually happens in December of the year that the child has started primary school.
